Open Day Artist * Urgent

PBS is holding an Open Day as part of Leaps and Bounds Music Festival on July 11 and we’re seeking an artist to do a poster, and banners for social media. If you’ve got the mad skillz, the free time, and can turn it around ASAP, please email mara@pbsfm.org.au for the brief!

Girl or Boy Friday

PBS is seeking volunteer receptionists to handle the 10am-2pm and the 2pm to 6pm shift on Fridays. The successful candidate will handle the phones, face to face enquiries and email, making referrals to all the right people. A good phone manner and confidence with using a computer and the internet is highly regarded.  Can you commit to at least 6 months? That'd be handy! One thing to note: excellent people skills are a must. Think you’ve got what it takes? Then apply! Merch Sellers for Soul A Go Go

Seeking 2 trustworthy, fun loving volunteers who’d be happy to give up their Saturday night to chat to people & help out sell merch for PBS. It’s all for the special Soul A Go Go featuring the Bamboos to celebrate Vince Peach on air for 30 years.  All proceeds go to PBS. Email mara@pbsfm.org.au to secure this role

Rock A Bye Baby Volunteers

Helping at the PBS RABB gigs mostly involves assisting parents, taking photos, talking to people about PBS, pusher traffic management, working the door and sticking up a few posters at the venue to advertise the event. It’s a fun event to be involved in, and there’s an excellent live soundtrack yet to be announced. If you’d like to be involved email mara@pbsfm.org.au

PBS ANNOUNCER COURSE

Want to have a go at being a PBS announcer?

Can you believe, it’s already almost July? Want to make this year slightly more interesting? Consider doing the PBS announcer course.  If you've never broadcast before, doing the announcer course is the first step.

We've got spots available for the announcer course in 2014:

Classes are held at the PBS studios, 47 Easey Street in Collingwood from 6:30-8:30 on the dates you can see above. Our teachers are broadcasters, and we’ll provide training manuals.
