WOAH, PBS DRIVE LIVE WAS REALLY FUN
Thanks to the top team of volunteers to who rolled out the 10 hour week long event. What a team! Drive Live highlights PBS' ongoing commitment to support local/under-represented music and it falls during our performer member month. Performers who take out/renew membership in Feb go into the draw to win a heap of cool prizes as well as get thanked on the program of their choice for a whole year.
So we've had heaps of people say they'd like to volunteer for PBS, and we're in one of those very rare situations where most of our roles are covered by excellent volunteers, but we do have some vacancies and are taking Expressions of Interest for other roles down the track. Have a look to see if there's something that suits you!

Yes, we've got a shed and it's full of recycled building supplies and other stuff. In 2016 we have an exciting goal to order a skip and clear the shed so that we can better utilise the space. We're seeking 1-2 strong people to help clear out the contents of the shed into a skip. There'll be one other volunteer leading the way. Times are TBC- subject to your availability. If you were looking for a way to lend a hand at PBS. this could be the way. Email mara@pbsfm.org.au if you'd like to express an interest.

Fine Print Policies and Procedures
It is important for all volunteers and staff to be familiar with this. See the policies and procedures here and http://pbs.org.au/policy. The Policies and Procedures Handbook ensures that PBS remains in safe compliance with the Codes of Practice and other relevant legislation. It also positions PBS volunteers, announcers and staff to operate with a shared, clear understanding of how things work at PBS. Please read it carefully. And if you’re inspired, why not consider becoming a PBS shareholder?
