RADIO
FESTIVAL EARLY OFFERS
It’s already almost March
and given we’ve been inundated with so many volunteer requests, we were
wondering – who’d like to volunteer during our annual radio fundraiser? Radio
Festival is the PBS annual radiothon/subscriber-thon/marathon fundraising event
where we ask our listeners for financial support and we need wonderful
volunteers to take phone calls, and enter memberships into a membership
database. Good phone manner, good data entry skills and great communication
skills, and a strong understanding of PBS is a must. Radio Festival runs from May
15-28. To put up your hand to volunteer in the phone room, REGISTER HERE
If you’re not big into
phone rooms, or would like to try something different, we do offer administrative
volunteer roles on and after the radio festival. CLICK HERE to register for an aftermath role.

PBS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
It is important for all volunteers and staff to be familiar with this. See the P & P here and http://pbs.org.au/policy. The Policies and Procedures Handbook ensures that PBS remains in safe compliance with the Codes of Practice and other relevant legislation. It also positions PBS volunteers, announcers and staff to operate with a shared, clear understanding of how things work at PBS. Please read it carefully. And if you’re inspired, why not consider becoming a PBS shareholder?
