PBS Volunteer News 9, 2017
Thanks to all those fantastic volunteers who’ve helped out at PBS in the last month. We farewelled Georgi our Reception/Social Media Volunteer, Press Gang and J’Nett, and saw Elle Young move into drive. We welcomed Lilly, Ruby, Heather and Deona. We saw the return of some ace volunteers including Greg, Richard, Curtis, Quinn, Nick, Jonathan, Rasha, Ella, Malcolm and Amy. And welcome Kix, Mz Rizk and a brand new Cross Pollinate team to the PBS grid.

We celebrated the real end of Radio Festival with a couple of last-minute working bees and partied at the annual wrap party. What a brilliant group of volunteers who keep the office functioning, the station broadcasting, and represent PBS at events. If you’d like to be part of the team, read below to see the most up to date volunteer vacancies…

PBS Policies and Procedures
It is important for all volunteers and staff to be familiar with this. See the P&P here and http://pbs.org.au/policy. The Policies and Procedures Handbook ensures that PBS remains in safe compliance with the Codes of Practice and other relevant legislation. It also positions PBS volunteers, announcers and staff to operate with a shared, clear understanding of how things work at PBS. Please read it carefully. And if you’re inspired, why not consider becoming a PBS shareholder? The AGM is held in November.
PBS acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we are located
and we pay our respects to them, their culture, and their Elders past and present
