Seeking New Year Volunteers
Hi Readers,
We're back and we've got some Reception Volunteer Roles vacant. January is a quiet-ish time for the PBS office, so if you're new to the whole office administration caper, it's a great time to join. Further afield we've got a live music event at the PBS studios in February and we're looking for suitable volunteers to help run it. Kickstart your 2018 by volunteering at PBS.

Drive Live is the station’s annual showcase of Melbourne’s thriving live music scene, and a celebration of PBS’ long and storied history of live-to-air broadcasting. For a week every year, PBS opens its doors to the public as three bands perform each day in front of a studio audience from our Studio 5, broadcast live via www.pbsfm.org.au and 106.7FM. We are seeking Drive Live volunteers to assist on the bar or as a runners 4.45pm-7.30pm Monday to Friday.

PBS Policies and Procedures
It is important for all volunteers and staff to be familiar with this. See the P&P here and http://pbs.org.au/policy. The Policies and Procedures Handbook ensures that PBS remains in safe compliance with the Codes of Practice and other relevant legislation. It also positions PBS volunteers, announcers and staff to operate with a shared, clear understanding of how things work at PBS. Please read it carefully. And if you’re inspired, why not consider becoming a PBS shareholder? The AGM is held in November.
PBS acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we are located
and we pay our respects to them, their culture, and their Elders past and present
