PBS ANNOUNCER COURSE

PBS announcer course August 6- Taught by Homebrew’s Jenny O’Keefe

We run small classes[8], it’s a great opportunity to see what it’s like behind the scenes, have the chance to have a go yourself, and make a demo. It's taught by experienced community radio community announcers. Not to mention, it’s fun, and you get to meet like minded individuals. Only 4 spots left!

Prices are as follows:

Course Cost
PBS member fee:               Full    $270           Concession    $180
PBS non member fee:         Full    $300           Concession    $200

If you want to do this, email mara[at]pbsfm[dot]org[dot]au to enrol.

Community Cup - A bloody great day!

Community Cup
The result was a draw, and the transition from Megahertz Cheer leaders to Cheer squad didn’t quite work out as anticipated, so we’ll rethink our strategy for 2013. Think you can do better?  Email mara[at]pbsfm[dot]org[dot]au to make welcome improvement suggestions. And a special thanks to the girls for being our awesome albeit little cheer squad!
Our little cheersquad!

PBS FINE PRINT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
It is important for all volunteers and staff to be familiar with this. See the policies and procedures here and http://pbs.org.au/policy. The Policies and Procedures Handbook ensures that PBS remains in safe compliance with the Codes of Practice and other relevant legislation. It also positions PBS volunteers, announcers and staff to operate with a shared, clear understanding of how things work at PBS. Please read it carefully. And if you’re inspired, why not consider becoming a PBS shareholder?
