PBS Volunteer News - 5 2016 Community Cup Volunteer Roles

THE RECLINK COMMUNITY CUP IS ONLY MADE POSSIBLE BY A TEAM OF PASSIONATE AND DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS AND THEY NEED US!

HAVE SOME LAFFS & HELP OUT AT THE COMMUNITY CUP 

On June 26, PBS join forces with RRR and other community radio stations to form the super group known as THE MEGAHERTZ. Their opponents? Just an ALL STAR team of rockers and scoundrels known as THE ROCKDOGS.  The funny part is that they will not compete in rock and roll, radio or music trivia (areas at which they are skilled at). No they play each other in a footy match. Imagine for a moment what kind of footy match it could be..... Yes folks, it's a bold and brave pursuit that could be personally humiliating but also really fun.  They're doing it for charity. 

The Charity? It's Reclink
Reclink Australia is a not-for-profit community organisation whose aim is to enhance the lives of people experiencing disadvantage or facing significant barriers to participation, through providing new and unique sports and arts opportunities and specialist recreation programs. And that is really quite awesome. 

Now to run such an event, Reclink need helping hands to do various roles, and we've got access to a selection of fine roles reserved for PBS volunteers. Some say these are the best roles at community cup because you get to help out then watch the match! Grab these quickly before they go. Email mara@pbsfm.org.au and specify your preferred role to secure a volunteer spot, and an appropriate registration form.
