PBS Volunteer News 6, 2017

National Volunteer Week (NVW) is an annual celebration that acknowledges the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers. From 8–14 May 2017, PBSFM is just one of the many groups across the country that says thank you to the 6 million Australians who volunteer and give back to the community.
The individual and collective efforts of what volunteers achieve is truly amazing! Thank you one and all.
We’ve got loads of volunteer opportunities coming up in the next few days, weeks and beyond and you can find out how YOU can help out your favourite radio station PBSFM by reading on....

PBS Policies and Procedures
It is important for all volunteers and staff to be familiar with this. See the P&P here and http://pbs.org.au/policy. The Policies and Procedures Handbook ensures that PBS remains in safe compliance with the Codes of Practice and other relevant legislation. It also positions PBS volunteers, announcers and staff to operate with a shared, clear understanding of how things work at PBS. Please read it carefully. And if you’re inspired, why not consider becoming a PBS shareholder?

PBS acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we are located
and we pay our respects to them, their culture, and their Elders past and present
