Marketing and Events Manager role at PBS




Community broadcaster PBS 106.7FM is on the hunt for an experienced, proactive and creative Marketing and Events Manager to help shape the sound of a key pillar of Melbourne’s vibrant music community. This is an exciting position at the station within a fast changing landscape of new technologies, changing audience habits and interesting new content development.


This is a senior role, managing a team of two staff and volunteers. The Marketing and Events (M & E) Manager is responsible for exploring and developing the station’s potential to push its brand to the greater Melbourne community, as well as planning, coordinating and producing events. The role oversees all aspects of internal and external communication, and is responsible for community engagement. The M & E Manager plays a critical role in the positioning, development and implementation of PBS’ multi-platform activities. The position also oversees the engagement, management and growth of PBS Members, with an emphasis on new and emerging communication methods. Appropriate qualifications and music industry experience is essential.
