Music Department Assistant (minimum 6 months) - taken
The music and interviews department requires a regular volunteer who can commit to a minimum of 6 months, one day a week on either a Tuesday or Wednesday. The assistant role includes working with the PBS Music Manager and Interviews Coordinator to process new music and assist with placing interviews across the PBS program guide and library duties.   The ideal candidate has excellent computer skills, competency with Word, Excel and iTunes programs, has data entry skills and strong attention to detail.  This is a role suited to a music industry, communications or media student, seeking to enhance their administrative experience. Seeking one or more volunteers to transcribe seven interviews which are all around 30 minutes in duration for a radio documentary. Rock A Bye Baby December 3 - Door and Access Assistants
Rock A Bye Baby is a gig, held up at the Fitzroy Town Hall once every two months for parents, carers and children. December heralds the last Rock A Bye Baby for the year, and The Seven Ups are playing. We’ll need a hand on the door, and to help patrons enter and exit the building. Would you like to help? Drive Live at PBS-Early EOI’s!
Drive Live returns in 2016. Celebrating the culture of live music in Melbourne, PBS broadcasts your new favourite bands, performing live from the Studio 5. Here’s your chance to be part of it.

Volunteer to assist during this broadcast event from Monday 1st of February through to Friday 5th of February. There’s many, but we need to have people with superior people skills, are adaptable, available, reliable and reasonably knowledgeable about local music!

Runners
Seeking people to assist volunteer bar people during Drive Live Monday to Friday. The bar will be selling beers & cans of soft drinks, providing water jugs and selling merchandise. The runner will be providing support to the bar. For more info, please email mara@pbsfm.org.au

PBS ANNOUNCER COURSE – CLASSES FOR 2016
The PBS announcer course in the introductory course for anyone wanting to become a PBS announcer. As you know PBS is community radio station devoted to playing specialist and under-represented music, so if it’s your dream to be a PBS announcer consider undertaking the course.
